Take some time to practice and refine your figure-drawing, I'm not too sure what kind of hair style you're going for but look up some reference images of the kind of style you want and look for some hair drawing studies to help. Shading would help too. As for coloration, the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture was tarot cards, so look up some examples of those and try to colorize it in a similar fashion. Overall, you've got a great start on this piece and I'm excited to see how it turns out.
